We took a 5 AM flight out the next morning to Cairns which is on the north east coast of Australia.
Our hotel was quite nice. Those Australian dollars can get you a deal!
We couldn't check in right away. So we took a stroll around town. This was a pool in a public park. It was very tempting to take a dip as it was close to 90 degrees there.
Our room still wasn't ready...so we headed to the spa. Just what we needed after walking all over Sydney for 5 days.
To continue the relaxing day. We spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool. That's a picture of me after I swam out to the island in the pool.
