KT Wedding Weekend

My sorority sister, Kathryn, married her sweetheart, Adam, over Labor Day Weekend. Here's a rundown of the wedding weekend.
We started Thursday night with a lightening storm at a Frisco Rough Rider Game! Friday started with a bridal luncheon. Here's Kathryn with almost all of the bridesmaids.
We had a lovely luncheon at Coast in Plano. Kathryn pictured above with her mother and Adam's mother.
Us with our goodie bags from Kathryn!
We all got personalized handkerchiefs. So sweet.
At the rehearsal.
Valerie and I about to get our Rehearsal Dinner on!
My new favorite friend and his wife Mary (Kathryn's sister). Kevin was the official videographer for the wedding. He was pretty serious about the job and kept the camera case close at hand on this hip. (And he kept it there all weekend!)
My sister along with Kellyn & Jed came by after dinner to visit with everyone.
This is Kathryn & Adam's Ketubah.
We ladies spent the entire day in Kathryn's suite getting ready. That's a picture of Mary "getting her game face on".
Megan gettin' her hair did!
After everyone was ready we made our way over to the country club on the shuttle.
We took some pictures before the ceremony. Here is Kathryn with her JBs (Junior Bridesmaids).
Pretty lady...last moments before she became Mrs. Zack.
One glass of bubbly before walking down the aisle.
Kathryn had the most beautiful veil!
"Tonight's gonna be a good good night!"
It was a great weekend of celebration!

NOLA

Kathryn's ladies all made the trip from Texas to New Orleans for her Bachelorette Party!
This is how I found Valerie & Kathryn at the airport. Valerie had craft time on the plane. Everyone's flights were delayed, but we made it all in one piece...Valerie and her clock say it's time to party! We headed to Broussard's for an authentic and very nice creole dinner.
Valerie ordered the Turtle Soup. I made sure to try it. The consistency was like beef stew.
Friday was our first night on the town with our crazy hats!
Made sure to get Hurricanes at Pat O'Briens!
I spy a pirate that likes her Hurricane.
Saturday we headed out for brunch. I had an eye-opener of Brandy Milk Punch. Yummy! (I actually had two!)
It rained that afternoon...so we took advantage and enjoyed a nap. Kellyn and I went on a search for a muffaletta for dinner. We did our best to finish one together, but were not successful.
It's not Louisiana until you see a gator! I saw two hit on the side of the road during my drive to and from Dallas. I couldn't believe it.
After dinner it was time for our 80's costume party! That's me and Mary channeling our inner 80's animal print.
We had a vote for Best Overall, Best Accessories, and Best Hair. Kellyn won best hair as evidenced in the picture above.
Group photo in the lobby before heading out on Bourbon Street.
After this weekend, we decided we can't go on another trip without costumes. We started a great tradition and enjoyed our last weekend with Kathryn Tarangioli and look forward to all the fun to be had with the new Kathryn Zack in the future!

Kathryn & Adam's Shower

It was a fiesta at Kathryn & Adam's Couples Shower! Valerie & Megan enjoying some fajitas. Kellyn, me & Megan getting the party started! Me, Kathryn & Megan The cupcakes we assembled the night before were a big hit!
No fiesta is complete without a cactus pinata! Kathryn was excited to take a swing before we blindfolded her.
Adam was successful in the end! Lots of fun goodies were found inside. The ladies were a fan of the "diamond" rings.
Valerie brought cascarones which was one of my favorites of the night. Kathryn & Mary executed a sneak attack on their mother. We all had a great time getting to know everyone in the wedding party and fun with our old friends.

Wedding Shower Cupcakes

Megan was making cupcakes for Kathryn and Adam's wedding shower at the end of July. So a few of us decided to make a party of it! Megan made the cupcakes, Val brought the Cupcake wine and Kellyn & I packed them up! The set-up. There were vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with yellow, pink and orange icing. Val doing a little taste testing of the chocolate batter.
Megan made fondant coin with a K for Kathryn and an A for Adam. There was glitter on them, but it doesn't show in the picture.
Megan doing her thing icing the cupcakes and I was lucky enough to place the coins on top.
The finished product. Getting them into the box without making a flaw was harder than you might think. After all was boxed we personally delivered them to Rosemary's house. Stay tuned for the co-ed shower!
